People of different faiths, like yours and mine, sometimes wonder where we can meet in common purpose, when there are so many differences in creed and theology. Surely the answer is that we can meet in service, in shared moral convictions about our nation stemming from a common worldview.

The Cuban people still live in constant fear of a brutal totalitarian regime that has demonstrated time and again its utter disregard for basic human dignity. The fight for a free Cuba has gone on for far too long.

I hope people understand that when you tax corporations that the concrete and the steel and the plastic don't pay. People pay. And so when you tax corporations, either the employees are going to pay or the shareholders are going to pay or the customers are going to pay. And so corporations are people.

The president is the leader of the nation. The president brings people together, does the deals, does the trades, knocks the heads together. The president leads.

Of course, citizens also failed. Tom Ridge, former head of homeland security, said each of us should have a two-week supply of water and medical supplies and food. It looks like very few people listened to what he had to say,

People who represent drunk drivers know that all you have to do is then go to the Registry of Motor Vehicles and show a hardship, and you get your license back,

I think people should have the common courtesy and judgment - the good judgment - not to be - not to offend other peoples' faiths.

Fifty-four percent of America's workers work in businesses that are taxed as individuals. So when you bring those rates down, those small businesses are able to keep more money and hire more people.

The people who are having the hard time right now are middle-income Americans. Under the president's policies, middle-income Americans have been buried. They're just being crushed. Middle-income Americans have seen their income come down by $4,300. This is a tax in and of itself. I'll call it the economy tax. It's been crushing.

When we have had in the past programs that have said that the people who come here illegally are going to get to stay illegally for the rest of their life. That's going to only encourage more people to come here illegally.

People who are government servants, public servants, should not be paid more than the taxpayers who are paying for it.

I get speaker's fees from time to time, but not very much.

Corporations are people, my friend ... of course they are. Everything corporations earn ultimately goes to the people. Where do you think it goes? Whose pockets? Whose pockets? People's pockets. Human beings, my friend.

I'll take a lot of credit for the fact that this industry's come back.

I care about 100 percent of the American people. I want 100 percent of the American people to have a bright and prosperous future.

I think Mitt Romney has demonstrated repeatedly he has a penchant for - for secrecy, doesn't seem to have any interest in actually showing the American people his - his finances, decision - important decisions about his investments, refuses to come clean on his time at Bain Capital and when he was really there, and, you know, be held accountable for the outsourcing of jobs and the off-shoring of jobs and shipping jobs overseas.

I think people recognize that I'm not a partisan Republican that I'm someone who is moderate, and that my views are progressive .

I think people want to see change, want to see something new and Hillary Clinton is just not that person.

A leader has the capacity of vision, the ability to see where things are headed before people in general see those things.

I frankly can't wait, because the idea of Bill Clinton back in the White House with nothing to do is something I just can't imagine, I can't imagine the American people can imagine....

And I hear from time to time people say, hey, wait a second, we have civil liberties we have to worry about. But don't forget the most important civil liberty I expect from my government is my right to be kept alive, and that's what we're going to have to do.

There are a few things that were disconcerting, the stories about the private security firm not having enough people, supposed strike of the immigration and customs officials, that obviously is not something which is encouraging.

I have seen a lot of people, by the way, who were pro-life become pro-choice. No one seems to have any difficulty with that at all. That's easily accepted. But, if you are pro-choice and you become pro-life, there are a lot of folks, particularly in the media, who find that unacceptable.

If people are looking for someone who has never changed their mind and is unwilling to admit they make mistakes, that's not me.

With these 11 million people here illegally, let's have them registered, know who they are, those that are her paying taxes and not taking government benefits should begin a process towards application for citizenship.

I don't mind that people have questions and would look for someone to respond to their questions, particularly if their faith is not terribly well-known.

Donald Trump talks about how he's not going to be controlled by the moneyed interests. Do people understand that he's not giving money to his campaign, he's loaning it because he expects to get money back from those same big donors he decries right now? He's planning on running a general election based upon raising money from those very people.

Flexibility. Oh, that's pretty clearly saying that what Donald Trump said to The New York Times is very different than what he's saying to the American people. He is not the real deal. He is a phony.

People hear from Donald Trump that he's such an extraordinary success. They didn't know about Trump airlines and Trump mortgages and Trump vitamin network and Trump steaks and Trump Taj Mahal. They didn't realize a lot of small people have been crushed by Donald Trump's rise to become a very wealthy man, successful financially, but this is a guy who has not been a uniform success.

There are some who would have a presidential candidate describe and explain his church's distinctive doctrines. To do so would enable the very religious test the founders prohibited in the Constitution. No candidate should become the spokesman for his faith. For if he becomes President he will need the prayers of the people of all faiths.

I think folks need to understand the whole background of Donald Trump. I find from time to time, I talk to people about the campaign and they say, gosh, I didn't know that Donald Trump gave a bunch of money to Jimmy Carter and to Hillary Clinton and to Harry Reid and to John Kerry.

What I can tell you is I'm not running for president. I'm not going to run for president. I'm going to support one of these four people to be our nominee. I'm supporting three of them right now. And that means that we're going to get one of those people as our nominee.

The future of the United States and the most important election in a generation, and he [Donald Trump] is trying to con people into giving them their vote, just like he conned these people into giving them their money.

Donald Trump trying to do to the American voter what he did to the people that signed up for this course: He's making promises he has no intention of keeping.

The American people should be free to advocate for their candidates and their positions without burdensome limitations.

Tomorrow we begin a new tomorrow.
