This was a very difficult decision. Ed has devoted himself completely to this organization for 16 years, the last eight as general manager. I believe he's done a good job. We're a better club today than when he took over. However, we set goals for ourselves. We haven't achieved our goals. I think it's appropriate at this time to find a new GM.
