Retrofitting can be simple things like taking a cafeteria, adding bolts to the top and bottom of the door so it doesn't rattle open during a hurricane; providing some type of security screen on the outside so it will do two things: keep the bad guys out, but provide missile-impact resistance when we have a hurricane.
