Considering the current situation surrounding the SDF, we can't say that it would fall within the framework of the Constitution, because of such issues as the enactment of the law concerning emergency contingencies in areas surrounding Japan, the implementation of legislation for military emergencies, the dispatch of Maritime SDF vessels to the Indian Ocean, and SDF participation in the multinational force in Iraq.
