We're a young team and we're still growing. I'm proud of the four wins we got against the defending county champ. They're a tough team with three defending county champs and another two who are ranked. They wrestle all year all over the county. We were more mentally prepared today. We knew what we were in for, and we went after them. I'd say we're still four to five years away. We need the kids who are in fifth and sixth grade to come up.

We're a very young team, and look how well we've played against so many teams. We've been able to win a lot in the Big 12, and we could have won a lot more. We're really showing up in the last part of the season.

We're a very young football team. We have a long ways to go before we can compete against the better people on our schedule. We have a young offense, particularly in places that handle the ball.

We stood around. We were hesitant and flat against their zone. It gives the impression to people that the players didn't come ready to play.

We still need to work on being aggressive with the bats against better pitchers. We did a good job and they played hard. We got some girls some experience at different positions. I was happy with what I saw. We did well competing against a good team.

We're in the ballpark. None of us likes the idea of a tax increase. But at the same time, we're trying to make sure we're finding the means to provide the best services we can. When I walk the district, people say over and over again that they want more police officers.

We're insulated a little bit from the recession because of our cost structure, but our business is to some extent cyclical, ... With pressure on network TV, rising (interest) rates against inflation and lower, declining audiences, clearly clients are looking at alternatives.

We're incredibly happy to be a No. 1 seed. We were 13-3 against top-50 competition. We were 7-2 against top-25 competition. These kids are deserving of a No. 1 seed.

We are against such races, and we will continue opposing them.
