I grew up watching a lot of the coverage of the early U.S. space program, all the way back starting with Mercury and then through Gemini and Apollo and of course going to the moon as the main part of the Apollo program.
I love books and the latest autobiographies. I'm a Gemini and love being with people, but then again, I love my own company, which is when I read most.
Apollo was just too big, like flying a big transport airplane, which fighter pilots don't really revere. Gemini was just about the right size.
Gemini was a tough go. It was smaller than the front seat of a Volkswagen bug. It made Apollo seem like a super-duper, plush touring bus.

It's not strictly about goals and assists. It meant as much to me to give a big hit as it did to score a big goal. I'm a Gemini so I have a split personality.
We found out the Gemini spacesuit was, well, oxygen was flowing to keep me cool as well as to breathe, and it wasn't good enough. My visor got fogged.
