I've been told my movies are difficult to market.

Disney produces fabulous movies around certain characters, and then they commercialize that engagement through toys, books, cruises.

My all-time favorites that I always go back to are films by the director John Cassavetes. The movies he made, the work he left behind, have been a big influence for my work.

A lot of the films I've done have links to other movies that I've directed in the past.

My favorite movie out of the old movies was 'Escape to Witch Mountain.' We were working with horses and bears, and when you have a great friend like Ike and a great director... it was a great experience.

I love movies, I love television and I know that the kind of stuff I love to watch and that's what I want to do.
