I don't know if we've beaten them in 10 years. I know at least 10, maybe longer than that. It's good to get the monkey off our back, I guess. We came out swinging well and came out with a lot of intensity.
It was kind of a statement game. But, it's early. I mean, we can't get too overconfident because things can change in baseball in a hurry. You can turn around and lose three or four in a row just like we're winning three or four in a row.
That's big to get on top this early in the season because when you get down you start to kind of doubt yourself. If you can get the lead early like we did today, it builds a little confidence. I thought our kids fed off that.
They're our two big guns. If we're going to go anywhere this year, we got to have them hitting the ball. ... Those are the guys we're depending on, and they came through for us today. I thought everybody else on the lineup did well too.
