My heart's pumping a little bit more. I don't know how (the players) are doing.
For the most part, we've proceeded as normal. I know the team and I haven't talked about it.
We need to get it done so we don't have to worry about it.
We do an awfully good job of grinding out wins at the end.
This group has done a remarkable job of finding a way. I didn't think we played very well offensively. But both teams played so well on defense. They just know what it takes.
We were working our tails off on defense to stay close. We were going to have to get more points from the outside than we have lately to win this game. But they were switching off a pick with 6?foot?7 and 6?6 kids. Our guards had no shot and they completely cut off our inside game, too.
Our eight seniors have played hard for three years, so I wanted to let them have some fun today. We wanted to give as many people minutes as we could while still being competitive. They got away from us, but I think our kids still enjoyed themselves.
I don't have computer-ease. They created that and that's been pretty nice. We've heard from a lot of names from the past.
We're in position to be competitive for the next few years. But we know it won't be easy. We know we will be a target for everybody else.
We knew when we came down it was going to be a battle until the end. We obviously didn't get the job done.
