Not playing with Jon McLaughlin made a huge difference. We found out, even without the state's leading rusher, that we can continue to play at a high level. We found out in those two games that we do have other kids that can step up and be playmakers whenever possible.

Being retired, we have more time to sit and see what's going on. We take a pretty active role in what's going on.

I am a big proponent of water. We do water while we exercise at all points in time. During any competition or while we are on the practice field, we supply water in copious amounts.
