I would hope that these results, combined with similar recent findings, would encourage scientists to stick to science and stop dabbling in the supernatural.
There's got to be some compromise. The stakes are just too high.
There isn't a single state in the nation where at least some hospitals haven't abandoned VBAC altogether or cut way back. I don't see anything that's going to reverse this trend.
I can't think of anything more scary than a woman with a scarred uterus attempting a vaginal birth at home. I'm sure it's happening, and I'm sure some women have already died because of this, and some babies have died.
