The people that own the apartment complexes, businesses, homes they are the ones responsible for bat eradication in their buildings.
People have been basically staying away from them. The citizens need to keep up the good work of letting the professionals handle it pesticide companies and us.
We start getting them about spring when it warms up. It's rare for us to get them in January and February, but the winter's been warm, and we're getting them a little earlier.
Things like that are a big concern for us. When these bats get into someone's home, we are available 24 hours a day. We have to protect our citizens. They can report it to animal control; we don't want it escaping.
They love those tall buildings, those apartment complexes where they can make their colonies between the eaves.
I'm extremely alarmed if anybody does handle the bat.
