Reduce portion sizes. Decrease foods laden with sugar, white flour and fat.
My only criticism is that there is too much weight loss in the first two weeks. When it goes into the other phases of the diet, it is OK.
Being overweight or obese makes you more likely to develop heart disease, cancers, diabetes, bone and joint problems and surgical risks.
You can eat seafood, poultry, lean meats, most veggies and fruits. Cut down on sweets, butter, margarine, refined grains, milk and yogurt. It does have mostly healthy foods but does not have many menu selections. It is making a comeback and has some science credibility.
You can eat as much as you wish as often as you like.
