That is the quickest way to reach everyone. We need to get enough people together, but this is very preliminary. We must take small steps to get to a big step. This will not happen quickly.

The community must initiate this. It cannot be done by PAT. Jeff Stephan, executive director of the Carnegie Community Development Corporation, had a group there that evening.

We must stop there. We have $500,000 in the sewer account and $367,000 was already taken out. This is a travesty to the public that we are raiding the sewer fund. We have raised rates from $1.75 to $4 per 1,000 gallons.
