He's so smart he knows that it's maybe more important here to run an extra 45 seconds off the clock rather than to get those two points and give them (the opponents) another possession. Mark's always been a guy that's been there for us. You won't find that on a lot of teams.
It was just an amazing feeling just to look up and you don't see any empty seats. To come out here knowing you're going to have the gym filled, to come see our team is just an amazing feeling.
It was just back and forth and nobody could ever get the upper hand. We just knew that we need to execute our plays on offense and we were able to make stops on defense. We knew that they were going to be making plays down the stretch.
There could have been guys that went the other way with that. (But) they welcomed me from Day One. They embraced me and accepted me. It was a great group of guys. Looking back on it, you realize how special it was.
There's been some times where it's been rough. It's not the easiest thing to leave a situation where you're so comfortable at. I know I couldn't have gotten through that without my family and their support.
