I hope that people see me and see a different skater. But it's not bad being compared to the Olympic gold medalist, and it's nice having her in the family.
I did start by being a little slow this year, but right before nationals I stepped up my training. At nationals, it was such a great experience to get onto the podium. I'm so excited to have the whole Olympic experience.
If they call me, I'm ready. Just point me in the direction and I'm there.
My whole family is so supportive, including Sarah. They're all going to be here watching. ... Sarah said to have fun and just enjoy. That's what I've been doing since I got here.
It was great to be there and to feel the excitement when she skated. I got to experience being on the outside, and now I get to skate and she's on the outside. I think that has helped me coming into this Olympics.
The Olympics are such an unexpected competition. You never know what can happen.
It felt awesome to be No.1. Let's hope next time I stay there.
I got to run through my short program and it went really well. I think I'm pretty much over my jet lag.
I'm a little sad it's over. This whole experience has been so much fun actually, not knowing what to expect. It's been the biggest learning experience. It's my first Olympics and my first senior international. It's been a big step up from last year. I'll take a lot away.
It could totally make her really submissive in the future. She feels like she already has to be around somebody who is beating on her. That's scary.
