Making it here is such an accomplishment for me. I don't have any expectations, just to go out there and attack everything and skate my best.
I'm a little sad it's over. This whole experience has been so much fun actually, not knowing what to expect. It's been the biggest learning experience. It's my first Olympics and my first senior international. It's been a big step up from last year. I'll take a lot away.
A little over a week ago, I wasn't even supposed to be here. I went out there for warm-ups and they were shouting my name. That's the first time that ever happened.
I'm just ready to compete, whatever it is. Right now it is the Olympics.
I'm just glad I had the opportunity to come here and have the experience. It has been so much fun. I've just enjoyed every minute.
I try to take clothes out of her closet and she gets mad.
I hope that people see me and see a different skater. But it's not bad being compared to the Olympic gold medalist, and it's nice having her in the family.
It could totally make her really submissive in the future. She feels like she already has to be around somebody who is beating on her. That's scary.
She said to just have fun with everything. And I feel like I went out and had fun. It's great she's been here with my whole family and been so supportive. Now that I'm on the ice and she's up in the stands, I know how she feels. Maybe she knows how I feel, too.
She said to enjoy everything. (The) Olympics are once, maybe twice in a lifetime experience.
