We're an outside event, so we just have to adjust, unless of course safety becomes an issue. We've moved a course or two and some vendors, but we're on rain or shine.
Locally we've worked with close to 30 outreach programs. There has been a concerted effort from the beginning to develop this as a family festival.
We're certainly pleased to create a positive economic impact for our wonderful community. But we're more delighted to introduce young people to the wonderful sport of cycling.
Our mission statement is to introduce young people to the sport of cycling. We want them to get off of the couch, get away from the computer screen and onto a bicycle.
