We're kind of streaky like that. We started with a little lull there in the first half, but then we got a little hot. The key is to keep playing steady defense and rebounding.
We played a great team. We just played very well. We had stops. You play good defense and you get those spurts. We didn't want to match them basket for basket.
We played a good team; I don't care what anyone says. We played very well. We played like you need to play to advance to the next level.
We're a better basketball team than we were at the start of the season. But we were a pretty good team when we started the season.
We have much better depth than we've had in recent years. We return five players who have started and have added several quality freshmen who have given us a boost. We have a lot of options.
The more you pressure a team, the more it has to work on both ends of the floor. The more you make your opponent work, the better off you are.
Every team will give us their best shot, and Omaha played hard. Our depth was a factor in the second half.
It's nice to win every game, but that's not something we'll dwell on until after the season.
