We want to make sure the candidate we choose has the level of integrity we feel necessary to carry on the pride and tradition that has been established.
He will be a volunteer helper. What we're trying to do is focus on the positives. He brings a lot to the table.
He had clearly done his homework. He was impressive. He presented himself in how he would take over the program. He had a high degree of integrity.
He is what we feel is a complete package. He has a philosophy that works to prepare these young men when they leave.
I thought it went fine. The panel asked hard questions. We were prepared for that. We seemed to be able to answer all the questions they had.
We feel whoever we hire will be a good fit for our program. They will have a chance to put their own stamp on the program without the pressure of the playoffs.
At this point, I see no reason to believe why he wouldn't be.
You're stepping into a school with a lot of history, tradition and now publicity. It's going to take a special person to step into that job and handle the unique pressure that comes with it.
They gave us absolutely no indication what they were thinking. Hopefully a quick decision is a good decision.
They have a decision? When we left, they said they would let us know verbally. They really didn't give us any indication it would be this soon.
He brings a lot of experience. He's efficient and runs a track meet as good as anyone in the area.
The interview process is complete. We had some highly qualified candidates. We hope to make an announcement within the week.
