It's the way I want it to be.
audience believe character coming hope identify means might people rather sign trying understand worry writer
Sometimes being real means being unsympathetic, ... I don't worry too much about being liked. That's not my first priority. I'd rather play someone people might identify with. If I sign on to do something I believe in, I'm trying to play what the writer wrote. And I hope that the audience will understand where the character is coming from.
behind family holding left mother wife wronged
Usually the wife and mother who's left behind is the wronged one, the one holding the family together, ... In this case, she's just as self-absorbed as he is and isn't too much better with the kids.
cast involves larger
We kind of don't know how to feel. But 'Infamous' is a very different film. It's different in tone. It involves kind of a larger cast of characters.
community express happen help outrage sure trying
We're trying to help express community outrage and make sure this doesn't happen again,
bossy case character damaged divergent emerged exploring grew household interested juicy mind people pushy siblings strange
In the case of these two siblings I was really interested in exploring how two people who grew up in the same damaged and strange household emerged with such divergent world views. I don't mind at all being the bossy one or the pushy one. She was a very juicy character for me to play.
beat coming extremely marches opposite
He's really not like other people. He marches to the beat of a different drummer. (Working opposite him) he's very unpredictable. He's always coming at it with a new twist, so it was really interesting. He's extremely inventive.
divergent exploring grew interested
The film's interested in exploring how two siblings, who grew up in the same house, could have such divergent world views.
relate stand taught
I could relate to that, ... I'm a Vassar girl. We were taught to stand up for ourselves.
attempted discovered fill filling garden michael pool remember ritchie standing tremendous
I do remember that first night. We attempted to fill the pool and discovered it had a leak. I think Michael Ritchie patched a leak. I remember him standing there with a garden hose, filling this tremendous pool. He was just determined.
characters coming hands home juicy mind parts rather seem wife woman
I do feel I get called to troubleshoot parts that could be so unsympathetic, ... I don't mind that. To me, they seem like juicy roles. They are characters in conflict, but they are not despicable. I'd rather be this kind of wife than a woman wringing her hands at home saying, 'When is he coming back?'
nice good-luck class
You know what I have noticed? And this is really sad. Flying first class is less scary than flying coach. They speak to you and they're so nice to you and they want to help you and they know you want a drink before the plane takes off. And they bring it to you without asking. If you're sitting in coach and hoping for a drink, good luck.
splendor heartbeat schmidt
I would do 'American Splendor' and 'About Schmidt' again in a heartbeat.
children two small-child
I travel all the time, and I have two small children.
