We are again playing a team above us on the points ladder.

The fact is we came back. We gifted 15 points to a good team and were unlucky to lose.

Lots of other factors affected them last year but they are an extremely proud union. We fully expect a pretty fired-up team facing us on their home ground.

One reason to come to Port Elizabeth was because it was nice to come to a so-called quieter place. To prepare at our own pace without people looking over our shoulder and instead to build intensity from within our own camp.

Obviously it is pleasing to have Hilly back in our side after such a long time out.

Certainly he's determined to prove a point. He went through a bit of frustration at the decision from down south. But he's at peace with that now and sometimes a new challenge is just what a player needs.

Because we had two sessions today, we're managing Marty, Steve Donald and Siti, who have got a few aches and pains, but we're expecting them all to be on deck.

He's got a very sore shoulder and he's not looking good. It didn't dislocate but it looks like there's something serious gone on there.

He was our number one centre during last year's campaign. He has worked hard to get out there and play again and Saturday will be an exciting opportunity for him.

He didn't train today, is receiving a lot of treatment and is still quite sore. I'm expecting an answer sometime tomorrow.

We also have Loki Crichton in the mix so it doesn't take a mathematician to work out they won't all fit. But we will look at mixing it up a bit and possibly play Mils in the midfield at times. We'll just have to wait and see.

This week there are a couple of changes to our tight five. The overall desire is to make sure we have heaps of energy in that area and to show a bit more enthusiasm this week.

There's risk no matter which way you go in this business.

The squad has had a good rest this week after our trip. While we have had a short preparation this week, it has been a concentrated one.

They fed off our mistakes in the first half, and all credit to them for the way they dug it out in the second half.

There were some quality things in the game but we just didn't do any of it for long enough.

They have slightly different strengths, so it's going to be very interesting when they come together.

After the 12th end we were always chasing the game although scoring a seven on the 17th end was nice against this class of opposition.

The fact we came back to 26-26 and to miss out on a win is certainly disappointing but we'll be back.

In big games like that (against the Blues), to pull away like they (Crusaders) did just shows where their game's at.

I'm very impressed with Jamie. He's trained well, looks in good shape and it was always our strategy in the first three games to use the resources we had.

Before we leave for South Africa it is key for us to keep building on our combinations within the squad.

He's shaping up really well. He's got through all the pre-season work, and he's pretty excited about pulling on a jersey and getting out there again. It's been a long road for him but he's shown a lot of patience and determination.

Univa developing and supporting Grid Engine is welcome news for the GE community. This move by Univa brings with it a new competitive spirit and sense of innovation to a market that continuously benefits from pushing the envelope.

He brings huge experience but the challenge is not to have him doing it in isolation but also bringing those around him into the game.

He brings enthusiasm and freshness. Physically there's been a big improvement in the last month or so. What he needs now is quality time on the pitch.

The guys know each other's games pretty well and there are not a lot of surprise elements.

The last two weeks we haven't been as ruthless there as we could have been so those couple of tries off kick receipts were pretty good.

The last four weeks where we have gone unbeaten, albeit a draw against the Bulls, have been crucial for us as a team and have given us a chance in this competition.
