I've never experienced something like that, but I'm just glad that I was able to recover as fast as I did. This is something that usually takes people a lot longer to recover from, so I just feel blessed that I can get back on the field right now.

It just shows that we have a lot of good players, a lot of young talent there that comes out from that place.

That gap that used to be there between making it from high school to college and college to NFL -- the bridge is starting to be there for a lot of young talent and they're starting to see that. By seeing players like myself, players that have gone before me, and are still here as well ... for my high school, when kids see that, they see that there's a possible bridge they can cross because they see us on the other side.

That's one of the things that I'm really struggling with right now. That's always been my strong point. Right now it's not there. I just have to keep working at it.

Sometimes, when we're together, we start just speaking pidgin and stuff like that and that's good, too.

It's nice to run around in pads, ... I don't feel like quite the same person yet.
