I've never seen it in my lifetime. When that Central Michigan group decides that it wants to play, they are going to be able to beat anybody. They have the greatest coach in the country and there is no doubt in my mind that they are a good team.
We needed to get that lead early to build confidence. We were able to consistently put good swings on pitches.
We found a way to win that game, and I was very pleased with that effort.
I am very pleased with the way we played. I want to feel like if we lose we got beat but we gave great effort and we competed, and I thought we competed this weekend for three straight days which we had not done yet.
She really just joined us and has been a nice surprise. She's a basketball player but proved today that she can play softball too.
We're in a bit of funk right now. We've sustained some injuries that we don't think we can overcome. We're going to have to play a solid game and capitalize on their mistakes to pull out a win.
