Our hitting was the biggest difference today. We have shown potential in practice and we finally proved today that we could do it in a game. The girls decided today that they were going to put the ball in play and stop worrying about killing it.
We are starting to realize we have to hit to win games. The defense can't do it all the time. Hopefully we can reach our goal and win the rest of our region games.
We have a couple of new additions that have really stepped up.
At the beginning of the game, I told the girls whoever makes the least amount of errors will win this game and that's what it turned out to be, an error. We knew their pitcher was good and our pitcher was good. It was definitely a pitcher's dual.
That was an amazing performance. She has worked hard all season and it is starting to pay off for her.
I'm just going to have to have her keep them cracked if she plays like this.
