We do one of those, we don't have to worry about the game.
For the first time all year we were actually patient. We wanted to go inside, but they (Eureka Springs) did a good job (on defense).
They probably think that we don't miss free throws. We were 11 out of 11 last time we played, and for some reason we knocked them down tonight.
We made some adjustments on our press in the second half and played straight man. We tweaked our the high-low. It was good to be able to show them some things at halftime and actually have them come out and execute it.
We stepped up in the clutch. We missed a bunch in the first half but when we had to have them we knocked down 11 of 11. They've been staying and making 10 free throws in a row every night before they leave and it paid off. This was a huge conference win.
When a team shoots as well as they were... it's hard to beat them. That's about all you can say about that. We were down 14, cut it to 5 and had the ball several times, but just lost the handle on it.
It was an ugly game all-around. We started with a 12-0 run, and I think the kids kind of slowed down a little bit, thinking it was going to be a blow out.
That wasn't exactly what I drew up. We wanted to get it inside, but it didn't happen.
That's what we want to do; we want to press. That really didn't help us much. It was an ugly game.
The last time we played them it was a game up until half. We wanted to come out with some intensity and we did it tonight for a half.
