It was hard. We make no excuses but we had no offense, we got into foul trouble and we did not get a lot of second shots.
My girls are playing good basketball. They never quit.
But we had beaten them (Riverbank's Bruins) by eight at the Escalon tournament.
Those (Ripon) girls play exceptionally well. With (Krista) Jones still out and Ashley Brady with the flu, it was tough. But my girls ran hard; they played hard. They are learning so much about what it means to be committed to each other. I couldn't be happier with my girls.
The third quarter was what really helped us. And I couldn't be prouder of my girls. They're stoked.
They came out quick. They kept two girls in the back court and just picked us. And they hit seven three-pointers, five in the second half.
