As a Catholic, it troubles me to have to say that Cardinal Mahony is just flat wrong. First of all, he seems to not understand the difference between legal immigration and illegal immigration. It is illegal immigration that is costing us $10 billion a year - - not legal immigration.
The black community are the most harmed by illegal immigration and it's time we focused our efforts in our inner cities where help is most needed.
