Joan Bonvicini is the former head coach for the Seattle University women's basketball team, the Redhawks, and one of only 18 coaches in Division I women's basketball history with 600 career victories. couple games last playing smart turned
We haven't been playing smart the last couple of games. Hopefully, we can get that turned around.
game good intensity shooting
This was not a good game for us. We didn't play with the intensity that we should have as a group, and we're just not shooting with a lot of confidence.
emphasis felt good key knew playing
When we got here at shoot-around today, I felt good and I knew they felt good. I think the key thing was, we didn't put the emphasis on Stanford. We put the emphasis on us and playing our butts off and having fun.

We're going to have to play great 'D'. They're big, they have very, very good shooters from the field, and great three-point shooting.
loss
This was not our day; it was actually a very embarrassing loss for us.
kids possibly
We did everything we possibly could with what we had. These kids aren't used to losing, particularly like this.

We do a lot of good things, and some things that aren't very smart. I'm glad we're headed for a new year.

We're missing players and we're missing depth and size. You get people that are tired.

We definitely are looking forward to the future and next season. This has been hard on everybody. I think it is equally important that we wait until we get everyone back and start working out again. It has been a tough year, but it also has been very positive, too.
addition coach good moment recruiting summer terrific
Todd, from the moment he's been here, (has been) very upbeat, and he is a very good coach. With recruiting during the summer and the camps, he already is a terrific addition to the staff.
