I don't know that I've ever shot 68 percent in the first half and been behind.
That was too little too late. Nick also, in the first five minutes, let a freshman point guard beat him to the basket for two baskets. I'm happy Nick shot in some 3-pointers but I can't find a whole lot good about our performance tonight.
We control our destiny as far as getting into the conference tournament. We played with a lot of toughness (on the last road trip) and came back strong.
It's real frustrating. I thought we had a lot of motivation coming into the game.
We aren't at the point yet where we have figured out that when things are going well for us we need to stay with that. I think that we get kind of bored, like things are getting easy, so let's try something on our own.
I thought we played a lot better (than last time) and I thought we got a little careless in the second half. We quit guarding and rebounding like we needed to.
I kept looking for a combination that would work. I was looking for five players who would score and stay in front of ball on defense. I couldn't find it.
I think that's the type of team I see us being. I think we're a good shooting team.
We're letting guys who play like they want to be out there play right now. So far, that's working pretty well for us.
