I've always loved Texas. They had the upper hand from the beginning.
My family prayed about it and we felt like we got the answers, so I might as well commit. It was probably just the family atmosphere. I felt comfortable around all the players, the coaches, everyone.
We've been looking at the good and the bad and just praying about it, looking at all options. It's a big decision, not just for me, but for my whole family. It's going to be a big relief.
Then I talked to coach Charlie Weis and he said that he wanted to offer me. But, they want to recruit me as a wide receiver. I don't know, I'm pretty set on quarterback. It's still in the air.
Texas made me an offer. It was over the phone. He just talked to me about Texas and talked to my coach. They're recruiting me as a quarterback and I like that. It was a big offer for me.
