We chose the Sunday before President's Day for this event because of the vital role the president plays in leading the country. Our nation is in a spiritual battle, and we Christians need to get on our knees before we lose both the battle and our nation.
Individuals may feel there is little they can do to influence the course of our country, but when we unite with believers from across the nation, the impact of our collective prayers can be substantial.
One of our objectives under our mission of encouraging millions of Americans to pray for the President is to enhance the prayer experience of the individual member or visitor. We remind them to pray every day.
We want to answer that question with 'You can pray.' If we are challenging people to pray daily, well then we feel the responsibility to provide resources and information to help them do that intelligently.
