It was a really, really heavy and intense experience for all of us.
We've written some songs that could be played on country stations, even though we don't consider them country songs.
I remember hearing one of our songs on (the BV station) while I was driving and being really thrown by it. And having a CD out is another big step. Even if you don't make it, it's something that you've done and will be remembered by.
I grew up listening to a lot of classic rock, everything from the Grateful Dead and Led Zeppelin to Deep Purple and the Beatles.
I think that's the goal of just about every band.
