That's what you dread, that picture in your mind of opening the door and seeing those uniforms and you know. Right when you see them, you know.
We were all so proud of what he was doing, and he was proud, too. If he was going to be away from his friends and family, he wanted to be making a difference and he felt like he was.
It was hard for him to see that, but in a lot of ways, it made his resolve that much stronger... to take care of the cowards who did these kinds of things to his family and his friends.
Every minute you have together is precious. We can look back on that, those memories, all happy. We always have those. Very good times.
