Sure, it's disappointing, but I'm not disappointed in the effort. We got down too much in the first half and they hit some big 3's. We had to fight back the whole time. I think we were a little fatigued as well.
At the end of the game, we wanted it in her hands on the free-throw line. It's just smart basketball. We're a veteran club and Amy knows just to go right to Tiffany. We have to play smart basketball at this time.
These kids haven't won a regional championship. Only a few of the seniors were involved when they were freshman. This is an exciting time for them.
