I guess it's a lot like the playing in the NFL this time of year. You want to play your kids so they stay sharp, but you don't want them to get hurt. You don't want to tip your hand to your opponent and you want your subs to get a chance to play.

I don't know where to begin. The last month our defense has been outstanding. The girls have gotten it together. We came out aggressive and took quality shots.

We dug ourselves a deep hole. We came exploding out of it, actually, at the beginning of the fourth quarter. It looked like we had some momentum, and (Barb) Shea rimmed a 3 that would have cut it to two. Then trying to get the board (rebound), McBride made a long pass, and it was a five-point swing. We never got back after that.

We always start in some sort of press. Tonight our defense was relentless.

We were only getting one (shot) and done at our end.

We missed four in a row in the final minutes. They (the Warriors) also beat us to four loose balls. It (late run) took a lot of energy out of us.

This is her third school in two years and everyone runs their offense differently. Now she's taking shots when she should, or for me, she should be taking more shots. Now the kids know when she is going to shoot and are ready to hit them with a pass.

This is without a doubt one of our best games this season.

I told the kids to eat whatever they ate tonight.

For the past two weeks she has played the most complete basketball for us at both ends of the court.

The main thing is we came out (of the game) healthy.
