Our defenders are a confident group. Our new goalie will have to show that she belongs in the big time but Melissa has shown she's willing to step up. I'm hoping she becomes the vocal leader back there because our defenders aren't the most vocal group in the world.

We are sending the ball up a little sooner to get it up to the forwards to make something happen. And tonight we were doing that. Right now, I think our speed was more than they could handle tonight. It all just slowed her down a little bit, but now she is healed up and is performing out there. She is making things happen and talking to the team. So we are hoping good things keep coming.

Elaine has a good speed, and we expect a lot out of her. We're training her when to move at the right time, and she's getting it down. We needed someone to step up, and she came off the bench and did her job.
