We're expecting above-normal fire danger for March and for the whole season.
The only salvation we'll have is if we do get moisture, and we're still waiting.
Two-thousand and two is still the record year, but we are comparing the start of this year to be worse than 2000 in some parts of the state.
We just need moisture badly, and we don't need it all at one time; we need it to be spread out.
You normally wouldn't expect this kind of activity.
It's definitely worse than last year. We're so far above it that's it's pathetic.
In January, we had fires down in southern Colorado, we've had them in Pueblo, we've had them out in the plains.
