When I was little, I used to feel a lot of pressure. Before matches, I'd want to throw up. But now, I've adapted. I do get homesick sometimes, but I have to remember why I am there and what I have to do to go pro.
When we got there, our luggage got lost and our hotel was bad. Everything was awful. When we finally got to our final hotel, it was like 2 in the morning. I said then, 'Even if I win this tournament, it's going to be the worst tournament ever.' It ended up being not so bad, though.
Most tennis players have a bomb for a forehand and are weak in their backhand, but I've always been the opposite. We've really started working on my forehand and it's starting to pay off.
I feel fine now. I'm not feeling any pain. I should be all right to play.
I'm very excited because I've never been to Australia before.
I'm working on my mental toughness, because I get really upset sometimes. And that's what helped me the most in the tournament - I was really mentally tough and that really paid off.
