I've known Dan for a while, and I think they knew they should go after Matt. He will be a great fit there.
Steve and Matt are exceptional athletes with the combination of power and finesse. Everything seems to bode well for their success. Kip and Alex are a year older and have improved a great deal. I'm pleased with the progress they've made.
He has a very mature game. He has great hands and developed a big serve, and he knows how to win.

Tim is an outstanding athlete who covers the court like a blanket. He is very hard to overpower and has a wealth of experience.
The results were what we hoped they'd been. All of the players did well. This was part of the learning process. Our goal was to continue to improve every match with the intention of getting better as the competition got tougher.
We've got a lot of leadership on this team in those two players. Both of them are looked up to by everyone on the team as outstanding players.
Our intention is to win every match we play. Not because we're greedy, but why play if you're not going to go out there and try to win every time.
I don't think you can play Matt any one way. He is someone with such variety in his game that he is very difficult to play against.
I think this is going to be the best team this school has ever had. This team on paper should be one of the top eight teams in the state.
