It was almost funny-I was working with a Mazda team and came to meet Mark (Patterson) in March, and he asked me, 'Would you mind doing a couple of Rolex races with me?' 'No, of course I wouldn't mind!' I told him, and I knew exactly what team we should work with.

For sure there is pressure, but most of it is coming from inside me. I am so thankful for Mark's commitment to this program, and he and Mike aren't in this just to make up the numbers, we are all here to go for a win.

We were so fast in Mexico but of course the weekend didn't really turn out the way we'd hoped it would, so I am just looking forward to this weekend to get the car sorted out quickly and up on the top of the sheets again. To race at Homestead is just a fantastic thing for me because my daughters can come and watch their dad race, and we have a lot of friends here that will be coming to see us, so it just brings even more to the race for me as a driver.

I am so happy for this team, for Mike Shank and for Mark Patterson. Everything went almost perfectly, and to come so close to winning this race I think really gives us a lot of confidence looking to the rest of the season. To be racing with this team and with Mark is an opportunity that I am very thankful for, and I just can't wait to get the rest of the season going.

This was the best winter I have ever had. Having everything in place for the year and knowing I was working with the best makes me so relaxed that I can totally concentrate on doing the best job possible in the car.

In the last few laps, something sounded funny with the engine, so I just backed off and made sure we got to the finish. Fortunately, everything was fine and we finished without a problem and hopefully can pick up some momentum in the points.
