We want to be here for many, many years to come. We want to take care of the animals and the community. We've got a good staff, I think we have our expenses under control.

What's important about this program is they can live anywhere in the U.S. and will receive transportation. They do not have to have an income of their own. They're not alone in this program. It's really a good program and it'll give them a chance to get on their feet.

Animals that are very old, sick, injured or aggressive may or may not be held the two business days. Sometimes that's just not fair to the sick or injured animal, the old animal that nobody's going to get.

It saves time and wear and tear and the gasoline for our vehicles. We're just trying to streamline our services, provide everything we can for the community with the budget we have.
