This was a hard weekend on us. We obviously didn't give enough. We have to get back on track.
That's the way we're supposed to play. And (the Game 5 loss) wasn't the way we were supposed to play. If we work for 60 minutes, we've got a good hockey team. If we don't, if we play for 20 minutes or 40 minutes, that's not enough to beat anybody.
Their goalie certainly played well, but we did not have the urgency we needed at the beginning of the game. For the first half of that game, we did not have the urgency that we needed. You've got to play like that for 60 minutes.
We feel confident going on the road as we do anywhere else. We've got to get something done. We haven't done it yet. We're disappointed in ourselves and we've got to get back on it.
We're fighting for the division title and this is a good step toward that, but we still have a little work left to do.
To get back on track against Adirondack, obviously our rival, we had to come up big. I think some of our players responded and did come up big.
It has to be, because we take too many bad penalties. If we continue to do that and not learn our lesson, we're going to be in trouble. But the penalty killing definitely came up big tonight.
We just played smart, worked extremely hard. We did the little things we were working on, we did them well and we had success.
The big thing is that we have to get our two points. We're in a battle here and every game is important.
It gives us quality players back there and lots of depth. For a while there, we were playing with five 'D' for a whole month, I think and for a while we played with four 'D' for a little bit. You need the depth as you move on.
