I have no expertise, and other doctors have no expertise, in areas of communication and marketing.
We have lots of very exciting and wonderful programs. We have not been able to tell our story to the public the way we should.
Billy Sparks is a great addition to our team. He brings experiences that will benefit the Health Sciences Center at a time when our mission is growing and we are implementing the recommendations that came out of our recent Health Care Summit.
When the school was first created, it was with the idea that we would provide the opportunity for New Mexicans to obtain a medical education and at same time address the concern of medically underserved areas within the state.
We don't have the money to do it. We're not a rich league.
