Jason was a one-man wrecking crew. Jason pretty much did it all himself today. I'm glad to see he's back on track and picked up where he left off in the second half of the season. It's a real blessing to have someone like that in the lineup.
Last week we played well against Carter (in a 42-36 victory), this week we stink, ... It's really, really, really frustrating.
I think every pitcher pitches a little differently when they get out of Colorado, ... He's a different pitcher here and we're really getting the benefits of his performances. He's pitching the way he always knew he could out of that environment.
I think he did a great job. We had a lot of inconsistencies the first half of the year, and to win as many games as we did says a lot about his managerial skills.
It creates a real disincentive for business to locate in that state.
I'm still doing my thing at 41, I don't care what anyone tells me. It's mentally exhausting to be that focused every pitch now. It was easier at an earlier age ... It's the ingredient I've missed more than anything else.
I think it's important that the catcher realize that even if you think something is going well and it really isn't but you're convinced it is, that he still try to get you through the game when things aren't going well.
I think the pieces are starting falling into place now which is good because you've got a month and a half left, so every game is important,
I think you've seen a different pitcher compared to earlier in the year. It's very evident that my mechanics are there, my velocity is there and everything is there that wasn't there on a consistent basis.
I think you see not a sense of urgency, but a little more importance on every game. I suspect it will be that way the rest of the year.
I think Whirlpool has the synergies to be able to pull this off. Maytag is not going to make it by themselves, and nobody does the laundry business better than Whirlpool.

I was counting on myself to go out and pitch a quality ballgame, ... Hopefully I'll have another chance to redeem myself.
