We're here to make the library easy to use.
Having a new building really piques the interest of people who have never been in the library and people who haven't been here in a few years.
Our intent is to open a welcoming, bright and friendly place people will want to come to. When people walk in they won't recognize anything in the old building.
The architect was good at little details to make the library not look like a warehouse.
Everything now is all pushed together. Kids are using the same computers as adults.
The money from the state is definitely a pleasant addition. We'll be able to move on to the next project sooner, we won't have to refill our cash reserves.
It's just going to be a whole different experience coming to the library. It'll be more relaxing. It'll be easier to see what's there when it's not all jammed together.
(The children section) will not be added to but not crammed. It will be easier to figure out.
