That in itself speaks for itself. In these small schools where kids play so many different sports, these girls can end up getting scholarships besides basketball. Especially in sports like golf and volleyball. I'm very lucky in that I've got well-rounded players.
I felt great. I told them that this was our game to win. If we can survive a half like that, we should win this game. They just played better than us in the second half and that's all I can say.
Getting that big lead is a big thing for us. Then we can play our type of game where we spread it out and try to get some fouls, take a lot of minutes off the clock.
