felt good meant respect seattle
We felt pretty good that we were going to be able to get the player. We have a lot of respect for Seattle and their organization, and this wasn't meant to be antagonistic or anything like that. It's just business.
best created die handle interest league situation
At the end of the day, the Hutchinson situation created a lot more controversy than anticipated. I think it's in everybody's best interest to let it die and let the league handle the issue.
respect trying
We have a lot of respect for Seattle. This wasn't about trying to be antagonistic or anything like that. It's business.
diligence due
We've done our due diligence and we're comfortable with it.
course games great issues looked obviously win
Obviously he's had some issues in the past. Of course we looked into everything, and it's something we're comfortable with. In this business, you win games with playmakers, and he's a great player.
best
We were doing our best to get him here. It was wild. This is an unbelievable story.

comment dealing publicly time
It's something we're dealing with internally and I don't think now is the right time to comment publicly on it.
contract deal guarantee judge legitimate seattle total whereas
I'm not going to judge them and say I am surprised, but it was significantly different. Hutchinson was a legitimate contract dollar-wise and that guarantee provision can trigger, whereas the Seattle deal is a total sham.
