Out of the last three years, this year our team is stronger. Out of all three years we've come in second every time. But this year more than the last two I've got a stronger team to present to states.
What I liked better about today's matches -- our No. 4 player wasn't here -- our 5, 6 and 7 had to move up a spot, and it gave the three kids a better match.
We've been really fortunate with our top lineup, No. 1, 2 and 3, the kids that are really committed to their tennis, that play tennis an average of five days a week, that really make a true commitment to this sport.
It's nice to see that the bottom players are able to win with a good, solid score instead of making the match complicated. They all really showed great sportsmanship.
No. 4 singles was probably the most exciting match of the day.
