It's tough. The bottom line is we fought hard. We're on a slide right now and we'll bounce back.
I am sure Auburn has revenge on their mind to say the least. They are a very good baseball team. We did a good job against them last year. We both have different ball clubs this year so it should be a good series.
I hadn't missed too many games. Taking the day off was a good idea. I just wanted to come out and have fun.
We will keep everything the same but the intensity will step up a little bit. We have done a good job focusing on our competition and scoring runs. With Maryland and the rest of the ACC competition the rest of the way out, we will have to step up a little bit.
Anytime you play somebody from the SEC it's going to be a good fight.

It wasn't like it was unexpected. Luckily, I got a chance to get back in there. It's just attacking the pitches and getting myself in good counts.
I am just really glad we have all come together the way we have this season. We haven't been tested a whole lot. We had a good series at Auburn and faced good competition there. All in all we have just done our jobs. I think all of us have found our roles so far.
We had a couple of left fielders go down and (Ryan) Strauss stepped in. Hopefully McArdle can do the same thing. I know he is ready to play first base. There is no doubt about that. Defensively, he's gotten so much better. (At the plate) he can really put a charge in the baseball.
